Tournament Configuration

Learn how to configure all aspects of your bowling tournament for optimal management.

Basic Settings

  • Tournament Name: Choose a clear, descriptive name
  • Date: The date your tournament will be held
  • Type: Singles (individual) or Doubles (two-person teams)
  • Bowling Center: Where the tournament takes place

Scoring Configuration

  • Number of Games: How many games each bowler will bowl
  • Handicap Percentage: Typically 80% or 90% of difference from scratch
  • Handicap Base: Usually 200, 210, or 220
  • Maximum Handicap: Cap on handicap pins allowed

Payout Structure

Configure how prize money is distributed:

  • Number of places paid
  • Payout percentages or fixed amounts
  • Ratio-based calculations (1 in X entries)

Advanced Options

  • Lane Assignments: Automatic or manual lane assignment
