Importing Bowlers

Save time by importing multiple bowlers at once from a spreadsheet.

Supported Formats

  • CSV (Comma-Separated Values)
  • Excel (.xlsx, .xls)

Preparing Your Import File

Your spreadsheet should include columns for:

  • First Name (required)
  • Last Name (required)
  • Average
  • USBC ID
  • Email
  • Phone

Import Process

  1. Go to "Manage Bowlers"
  2. Click "Import Bowlers"
  3. Select your file
  4. Map your columns to Tournament Doctor fields
  5. Preview the import
  6. Click "Import" to add bowlers

Column Mapping

If your spreadsheet has different column names, the import wizard lets you match them:

  • Select which column contains first names
  • Select which column contains last names
  • Map optional fields as needed

Handling Duplicates

The system checks for existing bowlers by name and offers options to:

  • Skip duplicates
  • Update existing records
  • Create as new (allows duplicates)
